Kate and Michelle - Style Icons

Here are a few picture of when the Obama's visited Buckingham Palace, in London England.  Both Kate and Michelle looked great in there trendy chic dresses.  Kate followed the nude trend while Michelle wore pretty pastels.  Both these style icons always look effortless in their classic ladylike looks.

Now that we have reached summer I have been on the search for bright fun jewelry.  A trend that I have been seeing a lot is coral rings, cuffs, earrings, etc.  This is a great addition to a neutral outfit.

Polka Dots

From the runway to the magazines to stars everyone is rocking polka dots.  I can't wait to pull out my classic black and white polka dot dress.  If a dress is too much for you, try a blouse, shorts or a skirt.  This look is classic and fun!  There were also a ton of polka dots on the fall 2011 runways.  We will be seeing this trend for months to come.



Bell Bottoms

I have been seeing more and more of the bell bottom/flares trend back in action.  I guess we knew this would come with the whole '70s trends.  I bought a new pair of bell bottoms last week and LOVE them.  I am having fun putting my skinnies to rest for a little bit.  You can also try the wide leg trouser like my past blog.  They look great with a blouse tucked in the front or with a tank and blazer.

Old Hollywood Glamor

So I  have been neglecting my blog lately...but for good reasons!  I have been working out everyday after work and following my new years resolution (remember that blog?!). Then I get really lazy and just want to watch TV before I go to bed.  I am going to try and get better!

So I have been looking at hair styles a lot and thinking what I can do for wedding season.  I have seen a lot of these old Hollywood curls and LOVE the look.  It is classic, chic and glamorous.  Just hope I can style mine to look like this! 

Scarlet Fever

Everyone is doing it....dying their hair red that is!  First it was Rihanna, then Blake and now Scarlett.  Who is next?!  Would you be daring enough to go red?  No matter the shade, I see a tid bit of the little mermaid in all of them!
