Chartreuse- The color for Fall 2011

 

The color that stuck out the most from the fall 2011 runway shows was chartreuse.  I guess this color is hard to miss!  Make sure when shopping for chartreuse for your wardrobe you find the right shade that complements your skin tone.  Nothing better than fashion week!!

I have been seeing a lot of this tiered trend on dresses and skirts lately.  You can find this trend in a lot of magazines and in stores right now. Makes sure you try on different styles and lengths of dresses to find what works for your body type.  I am so ready for spring after this last snow storm!!

Feeling Blue

Good thing I bought the beautiful blue, nouvelle vague, Chanel nail polish last summer because it looks like blue nails are still hot for spring.  Even though the shade of blue for next season is a little darker than my more robbins eggs blue, I am still happy.  I found some great blue nail options in my February Instyle.

Here are some great new looks from this weeks fall 2011 Badgley Mischka show.  I love the hair twisted back and the great pops of color.  This show had beautiful classic silhouettes with modern twists.  It is a little look into fashion future.

The Center Part

A hair trend that I have seen a lot of in the last few weeks is the center part.  This look is often seen on runways but is hard for some to pull off, like me (stupid colic).  Below are pictures of great women showing off their center part with different styles.  Whether your hair is curly or straight hair, if you can rock the look why not!!
