Fun Flats

People who know me well may be suprised I am going to write about flats as I would prefer to never wear them!  On the other hand they are great to wear to work and on the weekends running errands.  I would have to say I am a girl who loves heels, yes it may be because I am short, but they are amazing.  I just recently  found a great new pair of orange colored flats at Gap and am very happy with them.  They have inspired me to look for more bright and fun flats for spring.  Since I wear a lot of black and solid colors, patterened flats are a fun way to spice up an outfit.

Black & White

So if you ever ask me my favorite color I would say hot pink....but if you know me my favorite color to wear it is very different.  My favorite color to wear is black and I would be happy wearing it everyday and I pretty much do! What is not to love more than black and white? Here are some looks I have found that are right up my alley.

Trench Tuesday

So I am planning a trip to Paris this fall with my mom and sister.  I am SOOOO excited!!! I have wanted to go there for so long and we are finally doing it!  Even though our trip is months and months away, I have already started to think about what I need to buy for the trip.  Since we are going in September I will need a coat for all of the sight seeing.  I am looking for a fabulous trench to wear while I'm there and also for fall here in Minneapolis. I haven't found the perfect one yet but here are some great options.  There will probably be more blogs to come about shopping for Paris!!

Stripes, Stripes and more Stripes

Hello Monday! Like always, the weekend buzzed by and we are back to work.  I hope everyone had time for some rest and relaxation!  I enjoyed some retail thearpy!

While shopping this weekend with my sister I found a new striped dress at H&M.  After seeing stripes everywhere from the runway to magazines I thought I would add something new to my wardrobe at a great price.  There are many ways to wear your stripes and look great.  I found some runway and celeb pics below to show different ways to wear them.

The Skinny

We have finally reached Friday again!! I would like to say Happy Birthday to my wonderful dad who is 60 today!!  I hope the work day goes fast so I can get to dinner to celebrate!

So if you have been looking at your selection of belts lately and though should I go thick or thin....go thin! The skinny belt is all the rage this coming season.  Wear it with a blouse, coat or dress to cinch your waist for a flattering look.  It is a great and easy way to change and spice up the wardrobe you already have.  There are so many options of skinny belts like brights, neutrals, metallic, braided, grommet, doubled up, animal print, etc.  Have fun and look fabulous!

So I love the blunt bang trend going on!  I have tried this a few times but it never really workd for me since I have a colic.  I also saw that Jen Aniston has bangs in the new Allure magazine coming out.  If you can rock bangs, I say go for it!!!
